I watched Aquino&Abunda Tonight last night where hosts
Boy Abunda and Kris Aquino tackled the 7.5% uneployment rate in the country as
of January 2014 as compared to the 7.1% of the same period last year. Then Kris
agreed with the government’s defense that the unemloyment situation is due to
the calamities that devastated the country last year. She pointed out that due
to the calamities a lot of establishments have closed down. Boy on the other
hand said unemployment rate usually goes up at this time of the year because
there are fresh graduates who are in the lookout for jobs. Then he shared how
his father used to tell them when they were growing up that it was never enough
to have a job, you need to have a business on the side to suplement your
income. They were told then that even selling barbecue is enough, just so you
have extra income.
Yeah, right we all need to have extra income because our
salary cannot compensate with our financial needs nowadays. Everything is
expensive, yet our monthly wage has never increased and if ever there is, this is
still not enoough. That is why we are always thinking of having one or more
“rakets” (extra work), to make both ends meet so to speak. Some go into
business, but the problem is we usually do not know where and how to start. Our
business should be something new, one that is unique and different from what is
already out there. If we succeed in identifying what business is good and
promising the challenge of making it work follows.
Competition now is
very tough. Managing a business is very challenging. Therefore you need to have
advisers and mentors to show you the way, one who knows the ins and outs of
doing business. Mentors should have a proven track record, they are self-made,
and can impart wisdom to those who want to follow their path of success.
I myself wants to have a small business of my own to be able
to insure a better life for those who
depend on me. I also need to have extra income because I want to be of help to
others in need. But helping others will never be possible if you yourself is
not financially stable. Yes, we can say we can help by praying for others, that
they may be blessed and be able to live comfortably too. But helping others
should not be limited to prayers because these people in need are humans,
remember? Therefore, they also have basic needs just like us.
Bro. Bo Sanchez said, there is nothing wrong with aspiring
to be rich as long as you use your wealth for the greater glory. And I agree
with him. For how can you help others if you yourself need one? So we all need
to have extra income and one way of achieving that is by having a small
business. But then again you ask the same question: HOW?
God really knows what I need and he provides. He brought me
to the portals of Quick and Fast Credit Cooperative (QFCC). This “CHRIST”
centered cooperative that believes in “Helping Others Help Themselves” shall be
my passes in having a business of my own soon. Because the moment you become a
regular member, you automatically become part of the “Business Club” which is a group for everybody who has a
small business or wants to have one. In this club you will be mentored what
business suits you and how to manage it successfully. Yes, you will have FREE
financial literacy seminars which wil kick off very soon. And because you are
already a regular QFCC member you can avail of a loan for a starting capital.
Voila! Your dream of starting a business will finally be a reality.
So how can you become a QFCC member? Simple. You should have
a stable job or a steady income. You fill up the application form and pay
P7,300. That amount will go to the following: P1000 regular savings, P300
helping hands and P6000 share capital.
Helping Hands Savings is actually your social responsibility
window. That will be the source for financial assistance to each member in
times of sickness and death. When a member is hospitalized P5 will
automatically be deducted from that savings and P10 burial assistance will be
taken from it when a member dies. So the more members the better because there
will be bigger financial assistance but smaller deduction.
But not only that, because percentage of our monthly profit
will go to the Carmela Tadeo Foundation Inc. which is a scholarship foundation.
Plus we also give tithes (amount that will be given to the church or house of
God as our way of returning our blessings). Because at QFCC we believe in
“Helping Others Help Themselves.”
Now if you have NO P7300 now, you can be an associate member
where you will just initially give P1700 which will go to the following:P1100
membership fee, P300 helping hands saving, P100 regular savings and P100 share
capital. Then you pay the remaining amount by installment monthly or
bi-monthly, so that you will eventually become a regular member.
So you want to help your self and others at the same time?
Be a QFCC member NOW! Ask me for a membership form.
